Screaming up and down the court, phone capturing all her nine year old daughter’s moves, a basketball mom made her presence KNOWN this afternoon. What if we were all that focused on bringing peace to our inhabited spaces? How quickly would our worlds change?
Tonight I learned of a spiritual teacher who told her student, “You will find more peace when you make a friend of “I don’t know.”” This concept really took root in me. The unknown can feel so daunting. We are often ashamed of not having the perfect answer every time. When we admit to ourselves that we don’t know, we create a sense of peace that provides space for answers that may reach far beyond our expectations.
