Persistence and a missing tooth

Our five-year-old lost her first tooth this morning. By bedtime the treasured tooth was nowhere to be found. The family searched with zero success. Grabbing her flashlight, Simka crawled under her bed and searched until the lost tooth was found. When I shared with her my surprise, she said, “Of course I found it. I used my light and just never gave up”.
Grownups take heed, wiser words I have yet to hear.
