The sweetness of life

Fresh mountain water flows freely from the spring near our old family farm house in the Adirondacks. One summer the sweetest water in the world had slowed down to a trickle. Instead of letting the water drip from the side of the mountain, someone decided to put a tap on it. Shortly thereafter, the water backed up and with it came a disaster filled soup of dead animals and runoff; thus ruining the water we relied on.
Our life gifts and passions are like that spring; When we attempt to tap them up, sooner or later disaster occurs. When we allow our gifts and passions to flow freely, we can taste the sweetness of life.
