Choosing for the group

My brother-in-law spends his vacations visiting far off lands on his own time table. I would be lying if I said I never envy his freedom and ability for independent adventure. Deciphering the best plan for the group versus the individual ideal is not always the most rewarding task. Whether we are part of a family, school, or institution, being aware of the “us” instead of the “I” is a life long lesson.
