Our twins, who were once cute blobs, are now interactive humans. I was lucky enough to spend much of my day watching them crawl-race to the nearest ball or shiny object and snag whatever was in a nearby hand. The hair pulling and head bonking might seem like conflict at first glance however upon further analysis, it seemed as though these drool-filled tussles were standard interactions.
How can we tell the difference between interaction and conflict? Is it the reaction of the participants or the perception of a third party?
