Safe yet vulnerable

Teaching health to fifth graders is an honor and challenge. I am constantly attempting to find the balance between honest information without an overload of “too much”. Together we have created a safe yet vulnerable place where these tweens share their greatest excitements and fears about what is happening to their bodies, peers and greater understandings of the world around them. I am humbled.

How do we create more safe yet vulnerable spaces in our lives and relationships?
