Setting limits

Our six year old wanted to have sleepover tonight. While I remember how much I treasured those late night hours with friends when I was young, I also remember what a sleep deprived wreak our eldest is after such events. So as the girls were arranging the pull out couch with books, dolls and flashlights, we agreed that if they fell asleep before ten and woke up after 6:30 they could watch the movie, Frozen in the morning and I would even bring them breakfast. Now they are both fast asleep and tomorrow the girls will enjoy watching Frozen, while I enjoy our happier, more rested kid.

How can setting limits be mutually beneficial in your life?
