Unfinished

I met a fabulous woman in college. We were friends but drifted apart after graduation. I always regretted not investing more in that relationship. Thankfully, she and her family have moved to town and our conversation has picked up where we left off. The difference is that now we have ten more years of life experiences and stories to hash out. Tonight as she and her son headed out the door she said, “I feel like we didn’t finish our conversation.” Then we hugged, both knowing we probably never will finish our conversation and that is the best part.

What part of your life is thankfully unfinished?
