Fully present

My grandmother is 93 years old. There is not much left but love. I find that I can truly appreciate her love when I am fully present, snuggled up to her in her nursing home bed, my boots cast to the floor. It is only then that I can smell her sweet, yet practical scent and remember all of the hugs and tender words shared over a lifetime.

In what ways can we find opportunities to be fully present?
