Letting Go

I spent most of the day tossing and recycling old journals, articles, drawings and paintings. It wash difficult letting go of that which I had held onto for so many years. These personal relics were connections to people and memories from the past. But, the piles and files didn’t serve me anymore. They held me back instead of moving me forward.  And.. What resulted was an open space for new creation and ideas. What can we all let go of that no longer serves us as teachers and learners? How do we consciously create space for new thought?
